Die clown leek niet op Bassie, maar hoe laten ze het beeld en geluid gelijk lopen als het live is? Mixen ze de animaties ook live of zo? |

miran, de sequencer die alle geluiden aan stuurt on stage is via midi en een tijdcode gesynchroniseerd aan de video / beeldenmixer...klinkt ingewikkeld, is heel simpel. houdt gewoon in dat de videomixer van de VJ gekoppeld is aan hetzelfde tempo als de sequencer op het podium.......en hopla; synchronisatie van beeld en geluid... hoezee! deze code heet SMPTE, spreek uit: semptie. society of motion picture and television engineers... standaard code voor de hele film en tv industrie om beeld en geluid gelijk te laten lopen. jezus, wat zit ik vol onzinnige info... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MIDI_timecode dit zegt de wiki over midi time code. en smpte; http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SMPTE_time_code |

en mischien eenvoudiger uitgelegd; MIDI Time Code (MTC) is a sub-protocol within MIDI, and is used to keep 2 devices that control some sort of timed performance (ie, maybe a sequencer and a video deck) in sync. MTC messages are an alternative to using MIDI Clocks and Song Position Pointer messages. MTC is essentially SMPTE mutated for transmission over MIDI. SMPTE timing is referenced from an absolute "time of day". On the other hand, MIDI Clocks and Song Position Pointer are based upon musical beats from the start of a song, played at a specific Tempo. For many (non-musical) cues, it's easier for humans to reference time in some absolute way rather than based upon musical beats at a certain tempo. freak die ik ben als het over dit soort onderwerpen gaat, heb ik hier het uber antwoord ivm de Chemical Brothers. MIDI Timecode (MTC)MIDI Timecode is a form of sync that is sent from one master device to another usually via MIDI cables or serial cables. A MIDI Timecode message contains address information, whereas MIDI Beat Clock does not carry address information. MTC is a continuous message, and is a form of frame-accurate sync. MTC is often the result of SMPTE conversion from a hardware converter like the MTP AV and Digital Timepiece.
