Global Underground continue to carve out a unique niche in dance music with the Afterhours series, built and designed for those afterclub moments when you have had enough of 130bpm club beats but don’t want to fall asleep to generic sunset beats. The last release sold out in the first week and had to be quickly repressed and the digital version stayed in the iTunes electronic top 10 for over 5 months.

Always evolving and changing this latest installment comes with a Balearic tinge but not in the way you might expect. 3 CDs of quality music feature once again; the first CD is all about the party with classic tracks mixed up with recent delights such as Gossip, The Loose Cannons, Lazyboy and classic rave from Altern 8. CD2 takes a slightly darker path with pitched back electro, breaks and house from Loco Dice, Gui Borrato and Trentemoller, think DC10 at 5AM but all back to mine! CD3 is full of exclusive unreleased ambient tracks by the future heroes of electronica like Sweden’s Thomas Sagstad, Holland’s Eelke Kleijn, Australia’s Lostep and Canada’s Sissy.

With a multiple of formats, the std 3CD mixed version (far from standard!), the 4CD unmixed version, perfect for CD/Laptop DJs or music lovers, 2 vinyl E.P.s for the old school and a digital version for the “1-click” generation this eclectic mix makes it anytime music and definitely a soundtrack to the summer….see you on the beach/bbq/rainy seafront deckchair/house party…..
