I'm all booked up for this :cool

Fly over to Eindhoven early on the 15th, check into Mandarin Park Plaza and then head over to aquabest for a 13 hour mash up. Return flight on sunday evening so plenty of time to chill out!!

:party

I've managed to do the whole thing (flights, hotel and ticket) for 150 euros which imo is pretty good so it's just a case of waiting for the line up to come out now! The only DJ I know who is confirmed so far is Sander Kleinenberg but I would like to hear from any board members who know the rest of the line up :p

A couple of questions:

Are there usually any after-parties in Eindhoven?
Who else is planning on going to this?

The after will probably be in "de Rechter".
A 5 minute walk from the Mandarin. (Y)

That is absolute insanity I tell you. :o
At least I know the cheap costs I have to look forward to once I move to Holland. I can't wait :p

Anyone knows a good hotel (from 14.07 until 16.07) ?

Maybe you can be more specific about where in Holland you want to stay? Do you want to be near the fesitval terrain, etc etc...

If it's a hotel in Eindhoven you're looking for then you can't go far wrong with the Mandarin Park Plaza (just type in 'Eindhoven' with the dates you want and the hotel will come up). I stayed there last year when I was over for a weekend and it's really nice. It's 4* and right in the centre of town. I'm staying there for Extrema and it's 41 pounds per night for a twin room which is pretty good imo.

No problem, mine's a pint :p

It says on the booking form that check in is from 2pm but we checked in around 9am last time we stayed there. I'll be arriving about the same time on the saturday morning and intend to get my herbal supplies, have a quick nap and then head over to the site about 12/1ish. Someone mentioned that there are free buses running from most of the major hotels to Best but I don't know if this is true?????????

I will ask the hotel by phone about the transfer buses.

We have just received the timetable for the busses trafer to Best.

They will leave at 11 o’clock and 12 o’clock in the morning at the Mandarin Park Plaza Hotel and they will return at 22:15 and 23:15 at the festival to the hotel.

Thanks for the info, i'll be aiming to get the 12 o'clock bus unless I hang on for a lift from DJS1. It will all depend on the timetable for the dj's which will hopefully be published soon.

I'm getting very excited about Extrema now :D I'm actually off to the End this friday to see Steve Lawler so i'll let you all know whether he'll be worth checking out on the 15th. The answer will probably be YES :p

If your hotel is in Eindhoven, there's loads of bars, pubs and restaurants @ or in the nearby surrounding of Stratumseind which is defo the place to be in Eindhoven!

Not quite the dream for clubbers but if you like a drink and a chat it could get rather messy ;)
