After 20 solid years of djing in some of the world's greatest venues, Dean Baker uprises to a new challenge by channeling his talents into producing. And with feverish success - he has implemented distinctive deep and soulful house recovering all these years of experience into his own wonderful cuts.
Estonia's Ülar Aasmäe aka Spin Science hasn't been around for twenty years but he has certainly found the House that touches souls globally, his dedication to production has been featured on the likes of Global Underground, Urbantorque and Plastic City.
"I See You" displays an easy tribal percussion engaging a forward groove with vocals drifting over the rhythm, all the while being slowed by an uneasy bass line and synths recovering a slight upbuild.
Spin Science's Remix brings a steady bass, lifted by bubbly sparkly layers of rhythm. The synths engage a softer appeal supplied by a sudden drop. Smooth elevating chords rise with meticulous sounds while the steady bass is recovered, all combining to an uplifting groove.
"We Coming From Chicago"has a loungy appeal: soft percussion, blended bass remembering an inviting nightfall rhythm with an apparent disco-ish inspiration, yet different piano sounds alternate leaving a clue of jazzy influences.
