Russian, Seva K, who’s previous form boasts releases on Deepology, has turned in four tracks of magnificent depth and vigour. Techy in all the right places, with plenty of room to breath. 1. Fizz A deep house scorcher that intricately constructs a kaleidoscopic arrangement of sound. 2. Shiny Hours Deep, but with punch. ‘Shiny Hours’ pops and fizz’s along to dancefloor satisfaction. 3. Shiny Hours DubA tune with a simple beauty, this dub is stark, pure and intimately tranquil. 4. Sunrise over Saint PetersburgA more low-key slice of electronica. It’s a little quirky and understated, slightly eerie but loaded with hints of hope.
