Da's nou goed nieuws  :D

Azuli has confirmed that Danny Howells will be following in the footsteps of Danny Tenaglia and John Digweed by putting together the first of the Choice mixes scheduled for release in 2006.

Currently earmarked for a February 2006 release, Danny has already thrown up a hundred tracks from which to choose from ensuring we can expect a suitably eclectic selection with gems aplenty on the already eagerly-anticipated installment of the acclaimed compilation series.

On past Choice releases, Azuli have released the CD in a mixed format but are considering introducing a new unmixed format on CD and the return of a 4-pack vinyl set. 2006 will also see three other releases in the Choice series with details of those artists to follow.

We're not too sure about Danny Howells' choice in shirts (or those Miami pants) but do think Azuli have made a very wise choice indeed.

CD1
Urban Soul 'Alright' (Original Mix)
T-Coy 'Carino 90'
Turntable Orchestra 'You're Gonna Miss Me (Extended Club Mix)
Fire Island 'In Your Bones' (Vocal Mix)
Fire island ft Ricardo Da Force 'Fire Island'
Pleasure Done '8 Minutes of Techfunk'
Photon Inc 'Give a Little Love' (Tha Wild Pitch Mix)
PM Dawn 'A Watchers Point of View (Todd Terry Melody Mix) (DH Edit)
Ce Ce Peniston 'Keep Givin' Me Your Love (Boss Mix)
Chito's Revenge 'Oracion'
Hocus Pocus 'Hocus Pocus (Magical Trance Mix)
Slack 'Painkiller'
Ready for Dead 'Ready for Dead (Ambient Mix)

CD2
Sub Sub 'Space Face (DH Edit)
Coldcut & Hextatic 'Timber' (Oringinal Version)
Michael Bundt 'The Brain of Oscar Panniza)
Japan 'Ghosts'
Iron Butterfly 'in a Gadda Da Vida
The Tempations 'Papa Was a Rolkling Stone' (DH Stripped Down Mix)
Faze Action 'Plans & Designs)
Black Science Orchestra 'Save Us (Funky Music)
Visnadi 'Hunts Up' (NoFutureNoPast Mix)
Visnadi 'Racing Tracks (Indianapolis Drive Mix)
Orbital 'Impact'
Holy Ghost Inc 'Mad Monks on Zinc' (Original Mix)
Black Science orchestra 'Save Us' (Funky Music) (Intro Reprise)
Carly Simon 'Why'

The Tempations 'Papa Was a Rolkling Stone' (DH Stripped Down Mix)

:cool
