We’re excited to announce the latest instalment in the legendary GU City Series today.

Dave Seaman needs no introduction to the GU faithful, having previous mixed 3 classic outings for us from 3 different continents. He now adds a European string to his bow, presenting GU039 from the party resort of Palanga on the golden shores of the Baltic Sea, Lithuania.
Each summer, the country’s biggest club, Exit, decamps to the popular resort for a limited 9-week season. On July 24th, Dave Seaman will guest at the wild club as the next chapter in Global Underground history is written.

GU’s City Series played a pivotal part in the development of the dance music culture in Lithuania, with Dave’s ‘GU016: Cape Town’ mix back in 2000 being credited as the inspiration for what has become a hugely vibrant scene.
More updates to follow, but with Dave Seaman at the controls and one of Eastern Europe’s most passionate party crowds eagerly anticipating his appearance, GU039 looks set to be a monster when it arrives later this year…

"I’m very pleased to announce that, after a hiatus of 9 years, I have signed a new deal with Global Underground and my next mix compilation will be for them scheduled for release in September. Renewing the extremely successful partnership that brought GU12 from Buenos Aires, GU16 from Capetown and GU22 from Melbourne, I’m now in discussion with several clubs and trying to make a decision as to which which city GU39 will come from. Watch this space. All will be revealed very soon."

Nee hoor, die GU's van Seaman zijn bijna allemaal ruk. Alleen de 1e cd van Kaapstad is redelijk te pruimen. Maar zijn 1e twee Renaissance albums, dat blijven juweeltjes. Oftwel na 1996 was het bergafwaards met Seaman........

Ik vind die Therapy Sessions 4 van em iig heel dik.

Beetje respect voor Tony heren. Die kan er ook niks aan doen dat hij zijn tampeloeres destijds iets te vaak in een HIV-bipsje heeft gehangen.

Maar dan óók even een beetje respect voor Dave. Capetown was voor mij echt dé ontdekking! Die cd heeft mij de prog weg doen inslaan. Zonder die cd ging ik nu op de zaterdagen nog steeds stampen en rondjes lopen op feesten met Pavo in de lineup...
